Perry and Mindi Rosser - Owners / Operators

Owners Perry and Mindi Rosser are Cleburne natives, residing in Cleburne all their lives.

Perry Rosser graduated from CHS in 1979 and from Tarleton State University with a BA in business. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service and has been a Funeral Director for 17 years.

Mindi McCorkle Rosser graduated from CHS in 1980 and attended Tarleton State University. In 2008, Mindi graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. She is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer.

Perry and Mindi are both active in the community and attend First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Married in 1983, they have two grown children: Autumn, a 2008 TCU graduate, is pursuing a career in education; and Chance Rosser, who works with his parents at Rosser Funeral Home.

Chance graduated from CHS in 2006 and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 2008. He has joined his parents in their vision that Cleburne should have a family owned funeral establishment to serve its needs.

 Dusty Pyle

Dusty Pyle - Funeral Director/Embalmer

Dusty was born and raised in Groveton, Texas and graduated from Centerville High School in 1998. Dusty found his calling at the age of 15 when he went to work for a local funeral home and became interested in the funeral trade. In 2004, he graduated from Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in Houston with a particular gift of restorative art. Dusty has been with Rosser Funeral Home since April of 2005. He has made his home in Cleburne and cares deeply for his community.

 Stevie Berg

Stevie Leonard Berg - Secretary/Receptionist

Stevie joined the staff of Rosser Funeral Home in September of 2005. Born and raised in Cleburne, she graduated from CHS in 1978. Stevie attended Tarleton State University and Hill College before marrying Eric Berg in 1982. The couple has two grown sons, Chance and Chaney. Stevie is active in King's Daughters and co-sponsors a Jr. King's Daughter Circle. She is also active in Johnson County Relay for Life.

Leanne Lamar

Leanne Crocker Lamar - Bookkeeper

Leanne graduated from CHS in 1976 and Hill College in 1980. She is married to Dayne Lamar. The couple has two children. Their daughter, Cassidy, is a nurse, and she and her husband, Chris live in Austin. Their son, Bo is currently serving our county in Afghanistan with the National Guard. Leanne and Dayne have two grandchildren. Leanne has continued her education and will soon receive her Bachelors Degree in accounting.

Samantha Roper - Office Assistant

Samantha, who is also known affectionately as "Sam", is a 2009 graduate of Grandview High School. She is currently attending TSTC, pursuing a degree in Dental Assistance. She began working at Rosser Funeral Home in July of 2009 and has become a valuable member of the Rosser Funeral Home family.

 Randy Mac

Randy "Mac" McLelland - Pre-Arrangement Counselor

Randy graduated from Pasadena High School in 1973 and surrendered to the ministry in 1984. He is currently the pastor of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church in Glen Rose. After a trip to the Holy Land in 2009, Randy is now affiliated with the Father's House Educational Foundation in Glen Rose. Randy is a very integral part of Rosser Funeral Home and once a month, Rosser provides birthday parties at area retirement/nursing homes with "Randy Mac" as the headline entertainment. This ministry is a joy to all who attend.

Randy married Robbie Farmer in 1977. The couple has two grown children. Rachael and her husband, Mike, live in Florida. Their son, Reid lives in Stephenville.

 Melba Bower

Melba Bower -  Pre-Arrangement Counselor

Melba graduated from CHS in 1954 and has lived in the Keene area for over 30 years.  She has two children, Ray and Jackie; seven step daughters; and 30 grandchildren.  Melba has been a Pre-Need Family Service Counselor with Rosser Funeral Home since 2001, having been licensed for over 20 years.  Melba is active in the Keene Community; volunteers for Hospice; delivers Meals On Wheels; and is a member of the Crossroads Fellowship of Seventh-day Adventists Church in Joshua.  Charles Lockett

Charles Lockett

Charles "Chock" Lockett graduated from CHS in 1952 and has been a life long resident of Cleburne. He retired from Santa Fe railroad after 42 years of service.  Chock joined Rosser Funeral Home in 2007 and has been a valuable asset. He has two children. His son, Alan Lockett lives in Cleburne and his daughter Renee' Griggs resides in Austin.
