Funeral services for Alice "Deanie" Denning, 85, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 12, 2026 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery with Asa Denning, Parker Denning, Payton Denning, Nick Grinnan, Braden Horton, and Easton Roubinek serving as pallbearers.

A visitation and gathering for family and friends will be held from 2-4:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Alice "Deanie" Denning passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in Plano. She was born May 13, 1941 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Truett and Reta (Franklin) Waldrop. She married John W. Denning on September 9, 1961 in Jacksboro, Texas.

Deanie was a retired teacher for Cleburne ISD and a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband John; sister, Truetta Walker; and brother Johnny Waldrop.

Survivors include her sons, Anthony Denning and wife Sandra of Cleburne and Keith Denning and wife Linda of Kerens; daughters, Kari Denning and Sharon Switzer of Edmond, Oklahoma and Amy Macaluso of Plano; grandchildren, Jenna and Nick Grinnan, Asa Denning, Parker and Taylor Denning, Payton and Mara Denning, Ashleigh and Braden Horton, and Abbey Macaluso; great grandchildren, Wesley Grinnan, Charlotte Grinnan, Emmerson Denning, Beckett Denning, Henry Denning, and Lucille Horton; and a host of other family members and friends.
