Alice Marie Murphy

Alice Marie Murphy passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 in Cleburne, Texas. Alice was born May 20, 1939 in Hurley, Wisconsin to Ethel (Cameron) and Hjalmer Pickera. She is survived by her children, Patrick, Kristine, and Dina; grandchildren, Sean, Shannon, Danielle, Hunter, Alexandra, Lydia, and Charles; and her sister, Patricia. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Donald (Don) Murphy.

Alice will be remembered fondly for her keen intellect, beautiful gardens, passion for rescuing animals, and the mutual devotion to marriage and family that she and Don shared through many a challenging time. She was deeply loved. She will be missed.

Alice was a longtime supporter of The Nature Conservancy, Audubon, and the National Wildlife Federation. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests a donation to one of these organizations to honor Alice's memory.
