Memorial services celebrating the life of Lue Ella Allen, 74, of Alvarado, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin Williams officiating.
Ms. Allen passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Bynum, Texas on December 17, 1944, the daughter of Leona (Doss) and James Allen.
Lue was a certified nursing assistant working in the home health field and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
She dearly loved her family and will be missed for her great sense of humor.
Lue was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jessie Allen, James Allen, Hubert Allen, Robert Allen, Leroy Allen and Otis Allen; sisters, Johnnie Mae James and Christine Allen.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Allen of Alvarado; brother, Morris Allen of California; sisters, Joann MacIntosh of Fort Worth, Texas and Grace Rogers of Temple, Texas; five grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
