Funeral service for Nancy Gail Anderson, 68, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 28, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel in Cleburne. Burial will follow in Sand Flat Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Barton, Johnathan Turner, Cohen Barton, Connor Barton, Darren Moore, and Cade Fedor.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Nancy Gail Anderson passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her home in Cleburne. She was born on October 31, 1951 in Alvarado, Texas to Rosa Irene (Peppers) and W.E. (Bill) Kirkland, along with three sisters and four brothers. Nancy spent most of her life in Cleburne. She attended Cleburne High and Arlington High School and attended college at UT-Arlington.
She married Les Anderson on September 9, 2001.
Nancy was a hairdresser for 20 plus years and owned and operated a restaurant and catering business for 10 years. She was an extremely loving wife, mother and grandmother to her 10 grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janie Moore, brother, Donnie Kirkland and brother-in-law, Joe Moore.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Les Anderson of Cleburne; children, Sindy Barton and husband, Matthew of Grandview, Amy Turner and husband Johnathan of Glen Rose, Kay Mitchel and husband, Jonathan and Kyle Anderson and wife, Tara, all of Katy; grandchildren, Macey, Cohen, Connor , and Mackenzie Barton and Emma, Addison, and Libby Turner, Barrett, Maren and Maeve Mitchel; sisters, Keva and Jim Calvert of Cleburne and Tamara and Richard Ory of Nemo; brothers, Barry and Robin Kirkland of Alvarado and Bobby and Glenda Self of Cleburne; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
