Obituary

Anthony Robert Oliva Oliver Sr., of Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on August 12, 2026.

Anthony was a man with a big personality who lived life on his own terms. He was never one to worry about what others thought of him and was known for speaking his mind. He could argue with a brick wall and somehow make everyone laugh while doing it. Beneath his strong personality was a man who cared deeply and loved his family fiercely.

Anthony worked his way up through the roofing industry, building a career through hard work and determination. Roofing became more than a profession to him; it was something he passed along to his sons, bringing them into the trade at different points in their lives.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoyed football, baseball, playing golf, and riding his motorcycle. He had a love for the things that brought him joy, but above all, his greatest pride was his family. His children and grandchildren were, without a doubt, his greatest accomplishments. He loved them deeply and treasured the time he spent with them.

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa Oliver; his children, Anthony Oliver Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Cleburne, Texas, Michael Oliver and wife,  Natasha, also of Cleburne, Texas, Jonathan Oliver and wives, Ashley and Claire of Fort Worth, Texas, Cassie Whitehead and husband Aaron of Covington, Texas, Faith Kaiser of Oregon, Joseph Howell and wife Hannah of Venus, Texas, Rachel Howell of Alvarado, Texas, and stepson Dale Franklin of Arlington, Texas.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, AJ, Austin, Mikey, Hayleigh, Adaline, Scarlett, Myles, Kayden, Annalise, Bryson, Noah, Lincoln, Nevaeh, Samantha, McKenzie, Bella, Cameron, Holly, Gage, and Zelena, who brought immense love and pride into his life.

Anthony is also survived by his siblings, Brenda, Terri Lee, Mike, Joseph, Michelle, Billy, and Jimmy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Oliver and Mary McCoy.

Anthony will be remembered for his strong will, unforgettable personality, sense of humor, hard-working spirit, and, most of all, the love he had for his family. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the memories he created with his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and loved ones will remain in their hearts forever.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026, at Rosser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday 22, 2026, in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
