Arnold G. (Buzzy) Nickell passed away peacefully Sunday morning, September 27, 2026, at his home in Grandview Texas. He was with his closest family members near his side.

Mr. Nickell was born in Austin Texas, November 21, 1943, he was born to Lewis and Mavis Ince Nickell. Buzzy married Laura Hauk on August 10, 1962, in Cleburne Texas. Mr. Nickell retired From the Santa Fe Railroad in 2004

He was preceded in death by his Father Lewis Nickell, Mother Mavis Nickell, Daughter Pennye Gent, Brother Tommy Nickell, and Sister Syble Neely.

Survived by his Wife Laura, Daughter Tina and her husband John, Granddaughter Courtney and her husband Scott, Grandson's Joshua, Mason, Jesse. Great-granddaughters Alice, Rhiannon, Great-grandson's Fred Scott, George, Emrys, as well as other relatives and many friends.

After retirement Buzzy enjoyed working on his 40-acre ranch, where he raised cattle. He also enjoyed Playing Golf, Fishing, Riding ATV's in the mountains and spending time with his family and friends. Buzzy was a Christian Man who was known and loved for his grace, mercy, compassion and integrity.

A celebration of life gathering will be announced on a later date.
