Funeral services for Barmeto Clanton, 33, of Fife, Washington will be conducted at 10:00 a.m, Saturday, May 16, 2026 in the Marshallese First Assembly
Church, 1007 Trinity St. in Cleburne. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation and wake will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the church.
Mrs. Barmeto Clanton passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in Tacoma, Washington. She was born October 17, 1992 in the Marshall Islands to Paul and Kalani Clanton.
Barmeto loved to sing, cook, and cruise around and being a mom and aunt. **Asked her children & nieces & nephews to describe the kind of person she was & this what they said: kind, remarkable and funny, always happy, shows me love and gives lots of hugs, aunty meto was someone who was there if you needed something, she always tried to get it done, someone who's smile & laughter filled up the room, she had a bright personality, she always cared about us kids, she never said no when I call her and ask for something or to go cruising with her and she was always laughing and smiling, mom was passionate and was always feeding us no matter the time and day, mom was the best. She always tells me to fix my hair and that she loves me everyday. She always gave the best hugs, mom was and still is my best friend! One in a million, mom just always got onto me for being on my tablet too long. She always made the best white noodles (fettucine alfredo).
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers and great grandparents.
Survivors include her husband, Junior Lati; children, Franklin Lati, Desmond Lati, Jasia Lati, Michael Lati, Makai Kijenmej, and Caius Lati; parents, Paul and Kalani Clanton; brother, Michael Manjidreb; sisters, Ruthilla Clanton and Gracious Clanton; paternal grandmother, Ruthann Clanton, maternal grandmother, Rosilla Manjideb; several extended family; and many friends.
