Memorial service for Elbert Lee Barnett, 86, of Fort Worth, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at New Beginnings Church, 210 Lane Prairie, Cleburne, TX 76031.
Mr. Barnett passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Fort Worth. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on January 28, 1930, the son of Jewell (Fitzgerald) and John Barnett.
Mr. Barnett was a truck driver and was a member of Brazos Point church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, J. B. Barnett; and sisters, Johnnie Mae Barnett and Margie Barnett McDonald.
Mr. Barnett is survived by his wife, Sue Ann Barnett of Alvarado, Texas; son, Ronny Barnett of Cleburne; step-son, Louis Powell and wife, Vicky, of Alvarado; step-daughters, Dana Hallock and husband, Tim, of Mineral Wells, Texas, Lisa Johnson and husband, Dwayne, of Alvarado and Elizabeth Haney of Cleburne; nieces, Darlene Dezries of Chicago, IL, Cheryl Gosset of Cleburne, TX; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
