Graveside services for Mildred Anice (Scott) Randolph-Beal, 102, of Fort Worth, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Cleburne Memorial Cemetery with Mr. Bud Simmons officiating. There is no visitation scheduled.
Mildred, affectionately known as “Suzy” by family and close friends, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in Fort Worth. She was born in Cleburne, Texas on May 7, 1918, to Julia (Carroll) and Homer Lee Scott.
Suzy attended Fort Worth and Cleburne schools, graduating from Cleburne High School in 1935. She retired as the assistant manager of the Cleburne branch of the Sherwin Williams Paint Company. Suzy was a member of the Westcliff United Methodist Church and the One With Others Sunday School Class. She was a member of Ruth Chapter 20 Order of the Eastern Star and the Texas Laureate Mu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.
Suzy was a fan of lively conversation, salty jokes, and fellowship with good friends. Her family and friends will treasure the memories of a well-lived life full of adventures, big and small.
Suzy was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Murray Eval Randolph; and their daughter, Linda Ann Randoph Emery; her loving husband of 12 years, Thornton Hubert Beal; sister, Marguerite Scott Simmons; brother-in-law, Weldon Andrew Simmons; and nephew, Mike Simmons.
She is survived by granddaughters, Lee Ann Emery, Karen Lynn Emery and husband, Frank Valdez, and Erin Emery Long and husband, Kevin Long; great grandchildren, Richard Brian Salmeron, Rikki Lee Salmeron and wife, Angela Salazar, Kristopher Lucas Salmeron and wife, Burna, and Sheri Monique Giordano, Brandon Emery Giordano and partner, Celia Garcia, and Cooper and Lucas Long; great-great grandchildren, Ty, Gavin, Memphis, and Benjamin; nephew, Weldon Simmons and wife, Claudette; cousin, Elaine Garvin and husband, Jim; step-daughter, Kimberly Wright and husband, David; granddaughter, Jamie Deptula and husband, David; great grandchildren, Brynlee and Landon Deptula, Erin Gerke and husband, Byron, and Will Wright and wife, Stephanie; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Emily and Sadie.
