A memorial service celebrating the life of Mercedes Becerra, 88, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sergio Rizo officiating, assisted by Pastor Oswaldo Rigacci.
Mrs. Becerra passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 in Keene, Texas. She was born in Bogota, Colombia on May 19, 1927, the daughter of Ernestina (Colorado) and Arturo Samudio.
Mrs. Becerra was a retired administrator with the Hotel Bella Isla and was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Juan Becerra.
Mrs. Becerra is survived by her sons, Luis Alfredo Becerra and wife, Betty, of Medellin, Colombia, Juan Oswaldo Becerra and wife, Laura, of Cleburne, Texas and Oscar D. Becerra and Amparo, of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Angela Mercedes Becerra, Claudia Mercedes Becerra, Beatriz Helena Becerra, Juan Fernando Becerra, Carlos Gustavo Becerra and Laura Patricia Becerra; and great grandchildren, Juan Sebastian, Luciana Becerra, and William Alexander Becerra Vidergar.
