Graveside services for Billy Engle, 94, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Camp officiating.

Billy Engle passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 in Cleburne. He was born September 29, 1928 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was 1 of 12 children.

Billy was a hard working man who worked at cotton gins and farms all of his life. He would give you the shirt off his back and you could never have a better friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Adolphus and Nettie Mae Engle; brothers, Howard, Theo, Leo, Dally "Sonny", and Cotton; sisters, Hazel, Geneva, Elwand, and Nadean.

Billy is survived by brothers Dewey "Tootie" Engle and Sammy Engle; and a large host of nieces, nephews, numerous other family members and friends.

They all loved him and will miss him.
