Funeral services for Bobbie Ruth Walker, 90, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roy Gee officiating. Burial will follow in Caddo Cemetery with Toby Cox, David Lee, Taylor Walker, Breck Walker, Rocky Shue and Wendle Medford serving as pallbearers.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 27, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Bobbie Ruth Walker passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Cleburne. She was born in Maud, Oklahoma on March 6th, 1935 to Charles and Vera Bodkin. Her family moved to Olton, Texas where she met the love of her life, Billy Walker. After a six-week whirlwind courtship they married and enjoyed 58 years of wedded bliss until Billy's death in 2009.

Bobbie was someone who loved people and being involved in every school activity that came along. As a Joshua ISD employee from 1990-2009 she was known to the Staples Elementary kids as MeeMee when she served their lunches every day.

Her family was the most important part of her life, and she reveled in telling everyone about her four grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She loved sports of all types and was always the loudest cheerleader in the group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, baby daughter Vickie Gale, and her husband Billy. She is survived by her two sons, Mickey Walker and wife Dianne, and Terry Walker and wife Janie, along with four grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She will always be a presence in our lives.
