February 28, 1954 — November 4, 2020

Jerry Wayne Boldt, of Cleburne, went to his Heavenly Home November 4, 2020, at the age of 66. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny Haley officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Jerry was born February 28, 1954, to Seth and Myrtle Boldt. He is a 1974 graduate of Grandview High School. As a senior, he began working for the City of Cleburne in the Fleet Maintenance Department, where he retired after 32 years as Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in 2005. For at least 20 years, the people at the City of Cleburne were his family until 1994, when he became a husband and father.

Jerry waited 39 years to find his "angel," Angela Lori McPherson. They married February 12, 1994, at Buel Baptist Church in Cleburne. His pride and joy were his children, Audra and Austin, until grandchildren Addison, Izzy, Cooper, and Stella came along.

After two years of much-deserved rest, Jerry began working for the Texas Department of Transportation in Keene, Texas, as a mechanic. He retired in 2019 after 12 years.

Jerry loved being at home best, near his brother and sister on FM 3136, where he grew up. He enjoyed working on cars on the property, his fancy riding lawn mower, vegetable gardening, and watching the hummingbirds, wild turkeys and peacocks.

Jerry Wayne is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Angie; his daughter, Audra Coffman, of Lubbock; and son, Austin Cooper and wife, Katelyn, of Cleburne; and four grandchildren: Addison Cooper, and Izzy, Cooper, and Stella Coffman. He also leaves behind brother, Leroy Boldt, and wife, Brenda; and sister, Ellen Ware, all of Cleburne.
