Private graveside service for James Lynn Bothe, 94, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at Keene Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Bill Kilgore will officiate.
The family will receive visitors from 6– 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
James passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Keene. He was born in Commerce, Texas on July 10, 1924, the son of Esther (Ragsdale) and Tony Bothe.
James served his country in the United States Army.
He married Mary Dona Ball on June 18, 1950, in Keene.
James owned and operated General Insurance Service in Keene for many years. He was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
James was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Dona (Ball) Bothe; and sisters, Frances Flowers and husband, Bill, and Lydia Meissner and husband, Oscar.
He is survived by his son, Richard Bothe and wife, Twyla, of Keene; daughter, Jan Gibbons and husband, Bob, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Chad Bothe, Kim Picchi and husband, Jay, Alex Banton and wife, Amanda, Marty Strickland, Carson Gibbons and Meredith Gibbons; and numerous great grandchildren and other family members.
