Branten Rose

A memorial service for Branten Carl Rose, 58, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Garry Jordan officiating.

Branten Carl Rose, 58, of Joshua, Texas, passed away on May 18th, 2025. Born on September 26th, 1966, in Irving, Texas, Branten lived a life of service, devotion, and deep love for his family and community.

Branten dedicated 26 years of his life to serving the Grand Prairie community through his career with the Grand Prairie Fire Department as an engineer and paramedic. His bravery, selflessness, and commitment to protecting others left a lasting legacy in the lives he touched both on and off duty. He also served as a school board member of Joshua ISD.

Outside of his career, Branten was known for his warm heart and wide-ranging passions. He found joy in cooking for family and friends, tending to his yard with pride, and cheering on his favorite sports teams - especially the Texas Longhorns and Baylor Bears. He shared a special bond with animals, a love he inherited from his mother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Rose and Gail McElroy.

Survivors include his son, Reid Rose and wife Janelle; daughter, Madison Rose McKinley and husband Casey; brothers, Chris Rose and wife Kristi and Gary Rose and wife Angel; grandchildren, Rhett, Bowie, and Louie; stepmother, Claudia Rose; stepfather, Tom McElroy; great aunt and uncle, Victor and Elizabeth Mikulec; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family and many friends.
