Brien Eugene Magers, 51, of Tyler, Texas passed away April 29 in Jacksonville, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at Friendly Baptist Church in Tyler.
Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.
Brien was born April 15, 1973, in El Paso, Texas to L.E. “Buddy” and Mildred (Brock) Magers. He grew up in Cleburne, Texas and moved to Tyler when he was 18. A graduate of Cleburne schools, he went on to study computer technology at Tyler Junior College.
He was the founding owner of BRI-TEC, L.L.C., reflecting a career in sales, energy auditing and consulting in the HVAC industry. Prior to establishing his own company, he worked for a number of years for Coburn Supply as AC manager.
Brien was proud of his three boys and blessed to see them grow into responsible, polite, hard-working men. He loved being a Pawpaw to three grandchildren, with a fourth on the way.
Passionate about motorcycles, something he shared with his sons, his best days were spent on road trips, biking across the state and the country with family and friends. He was a member of Friendly Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Magers, brother Kyle Magers and
mother-in-law Gail Byrd.
He is survived by his father, L.E. “Buddy” Magers, of Cleburne; sons, Taylor and wife, Ludmila Magers, and Mason Magers, all of Tyler, and Preston Magers of Rusk, and their mother, Leigh Anne Magers of Tyler; brother, Gary and wife, Lisa Magers; sister, Elaine and husband, Bob Lewis, all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Avelyn, O’Brien and Mila Magers, all of Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.
