Graveside service for Glenda Logan Buckner, 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 in Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. John Glover will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Glenda passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 in Cleburne, Texas. She was born Dec. 25, 1933 to Robert B. Gillis and Clara McLaurin Gillis in Cleburne, Texas. Glenda married George B. Logan in the fall of 1951. They were together until his death in 1976.
Glenda married Dan Buckner in August of 1977. Dan passed away in 1996. They combined their families and had many good Aggie times together. Glenda retired from banking after more than twenty years, but her health had become a major problem the past few years. She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, George Logan and Dan Buckner; and her youngest son, Todd Logan.
She is survived by her sons, Kurt Logan and wife Ginny of Bedford, Gregory Logan and wife Susan of Weatherford, Danny Buckner and wife Carolyn of Cleburne; daughter, Kay Buckner of Dallas; sister-in-law, Winnie Jo Lee of Cleburne; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Glenda leaves behind many friends and one very special friend, Lynda Lain of Cleburne.
