Funeral services for Leslie Paul Burkett, 48, of Blum, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, August 30, 2021 at Cleburne Bible Church. Pastor Dean Elliott will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4:00 P.M., Sunday, August 29, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Leslie Paul Burkett passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Hillsboro, Texas. He was born October 6, 1972 in Kansas City, Missouri to Joanne (Madison) and Warren Burkett. He married Cherie Saucerman on September 6, 1997 in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Leslie worked as an estimator in collision repairs. He was a member of Cleburne Bible Church. He was an avid Star Wars fan, who loved spending time with his family and playing Legos with his children and favorite granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Cherie Burkett; father, Warren Burkett; son, Camdyne Burkett, all of Blum; daughters, Adriana Burkett of Joshua, Kaylie Burkett of Fort Worth, Holland Burkett and Jaycie Burkett, both of Blum; grandchild, Everly Howell; brother, Kris Burkett and wife, Linda of Blum; sister, April Richards and husband, Josh of St. Louis, Missouri; a plethora of nieces and nephews; and many extended family and friends.
