Marcellous Norman Burkett, 76, went to Heaven to join several family members on January 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guyle N. Burkett, Sr. and Louise Allred Burkett, his wife, Virginia Hamilton Burkett, and his brother Guyle N. Burkett, Jr. There will be a graveside service at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas, on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 10 a.m.
Norman was born in Benbrook, Texas on June 7, 1939. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1963. He married Virginia Hamilton on September 7, 1968. He worked most of his life as a truck driver for several companies in the Dallas- Ft. Worth area.
He is survived in death by his brother, Warren Burkett, his sister, Linda Burkett, seven nephews and nieces and 49 great nephews and nieces.
