Funeral services for Hortencia Capelo, 82, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Oak Cliff Seventh-day Adventist Church, 229 Hollywood Ave., Dallas, TX 75208. Pastor Osvaldo Rigacci will officiate.
Burial will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 1500 Westmoreland Rd, DeSoto, TX 75115.
Visitation will take place at Oak Cliff Seventh-day Adventist Church on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 with family visitation beginning at 6 p.m. and public visitation following at 7 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Solero, Aaron Rendon, Peter Capelo, Pablo Vasquez, Daniel Farran, Marcos Limon, Samuel Jr. Limon and Fernando Maldonado.
Mrs. Capelo passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at her home. She was born in Mexico on January 15, 1938, the daughter of Justina (Limon) and Baldomero Barbosa.
Mrs. Capelo was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mortimer Capelo; son, Roberto Capelo; and 12 siblings.
She is survived by her son, Armando Capelo; daughter, Esther Rendon; sister, Rebecca Limon; grandchildren, Hannah Capelo, Aaron and Vanessa Rendon, and Anna and Peter Capelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
