Carl Lee Kirkland, 76, of Cleburne, Texas passed away on December 8, 2023, at Heritage Trails Nursing Home in Cleburne.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Eddie Scheler will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 10:30 am at Ascension Lutheran Church, where Carl was a member. Burial was conducted in Baker-Lain Cemetery.

He was born on February 19, 1947, in Glen Rose, Texas, to E.T. and Alice Burton Kirkland. He married Millie Scarbrough on June 12, 2010, in Cleburne. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his siblings.
