Donald Miller “Don” Carter, 71, of Cleburne, Texas passed away at his home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. He fought a long hard battle with cancer.

Don was born November 13, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Mary (Bickerstaff) and EC Carter. He married Janice Allen on August 22, 1969 in Cleburne.
Don was a hard working owner and operator of a custom cabinet shop in Cleburne. Passionate about his job, he worked up until the very end.
Don loved his family, friends, and beloved dog Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and EC Carter; son, Cody Carter; sister, Carolee Martin; father-in-law, James Moore; and brother-in-law, Randy Allen.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jan Carter of Cleburne; daughter, Angie Bingham and husband, Wade, of Cleburne; daughter, Courtney Carter of Cleburne; grandson, Jacob Bingham of Cleburne; bonus son, Scott “Scooter” Krokum of Cleburne; sister, Jenny Carter and husband, Gary, of Florida; sister, Jorene Stewart and husband, Don, of Georgia; mother-in-law, Gracie Moore of Grandview; sister-in-law, Vanessa Pelham of Grandview; sister-in-law Pam Lay and husband, Bill, of Keene, Texas; brother-in-law, Barry Moore and wife, Ashley, of Cleburne; and many nieces and nephews.
He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
