A graveside service for Celestine Sumbera Haschke, 100, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 17, 2026 in the Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Texas.

Celestine Sumbera Haschke passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at her home in Cleburne. She was born February 12, 1926 in Holland, Texas to John and Annie (Poncik) Sumbera.

Celestine was a homemaker and a founding member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Cleburne. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting and making ceramics. Celestine enjoyed playing the piano and was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 25 years Otto Paul Haschke; three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Paul Haschke; daughters, Susan Haschke McCormack and husband Carl and Cindy Haschke Milsap and husband Monnie; grandchildren, Lana Milsap, Natalie Haith and husband Jordan, Cathleen Sparks and husband Ethan and Corey Epperson and husband Kyle; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
