On May 15, 2023, Charlotte Ann passed away and entered the presence of God. Beside her stood her three steadfast daughters, Carolyn, Kathy, and Connie.

Charlotte, lovingly called Charlie by her friends and family, was born on March 9, 1932, in Newport, Ohio. She was the youngest of 8 children and often spoke proudly of her brothers and sister, who took great care of her. When Charlie was just a few years old, she moved to West Virginia with her mother and father.

 She is survived by three girls, Carolyn Shuffle (Peter Shuffle) of Cleburne, Tx; Kathy Price (Chris Price) of Apache Junction, AZ; and Connie Carrell (Victor Carrell) of Hockley, TX. Charlie was blessed by her nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was gifted with a creative mind, enjoyed sewing, and took putting together a perfect outfit seriously. She loved going to church and being a member of Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas, where she was involved in Sunday School and Threads of Love.

A memorial celebrating Charlie’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023 at Field Street Baptist Church with Dr. John Hall officiating.
