Graveside services for Concepcion Valdez, 82, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Rosehill Cemetery with Pastor Miguel Rodriguez officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Concepcion Valdez, cariñosamente conocida como Concha, nació el 2 de febrero de 1944 en Huetamo Michoacán, México, hija de Luciano Valdez y Marciana Peñalosa. Partió de este mundo el 2 de febrero de 2026, después de una vida llena de amor, alegría y fe.

Concha se mudo a Cleburne, Texas, donde trabajó en el restaurante Chaf-In y la bodega Walls por muchos años. Siempre fue el corazón de su familia, de sus hermanos en Cristo y de sus amistades. A pesar de las dificultades y adversidades que enfrentó a lo largo de su vida, su fe fue su mayor fortaleza y guía. Esa fe le permitió mantenerse firme, agradecida y con una sonrisa constante, aun en los momentos más difíciles.

Su humor, su risa contagiosa y su manera cariñosa de tratar a todos la hicieron inolvidable. Disfrutaba profundamente de las reuniones familiares y siempre sabía cómo hacer que todos se sintieran queridos y bienvenidos. No dudaba en viajar largas distancias para visitar a sus seres queridos, pues para ella la familia era un regalo de Dios y compartir tiempo juntos era algo muy importante.

La sobreviven sus queridos hijos e hijas: Israel Arana, Hortensia Arana, Elizandro Arana, Huber Arana, Lauder Arana, Ever Arana y Maria Venegas, y sus queridos nietos y nietas quienes continúan honrando su vida y su memoria.

Hoy deja un gran vacío pero sabemos que un día la volveremos a ver. Su memoria vivirá en cada sonrisa que provocó, en cada reunión familiar que llenó de alegría y en los corazones de todos los que la amaron.

Concepcion Valdez, affectionately known as Concha, was born on February 2, 1944, in Michoacan, Mexico, the daughter of Luciano Valdez and Marciana Peñalosa. She departed this world on February 2, 2026, after a life filled with love, joy, and faith.

Concha moved to Cleburne, Texas, where she worked at the restaurant Chaf-In and Walls factory for many years. She was always the heart of her family, her brothers and sisters in Christ, and her friends. Despite the difficulties and adversities she faced throughout her life, her faith was her greatest strength and guide. That faith allowed her to remain steadfast, grateful, and smiling, even during the most difficult moments.

Her humor, contagious laughter, and caring way of treating everyone made her unforgettable. She deeply enjoyed family gatherings and always knew how to make everyone feel loved and welcome. She never hesitated to travel long distances to visit her loved ones, as family was a gift from God to her, and spending time together was very important.

She is survived by her beloved sons and daughters: Israel Arana, Hortensia Arana, Elizandro Arana, Huber Arana, Lauder Arana, Ever Arana, Maria Venegas, and her beloved grandsons and granddaughters who continue to honor her life and memory.

Today she leaves a great void, but we know that one day we will see her again. Her memory will live on in every smile she inspired, in every family gathering she filled with joy, and in the hearts of all who loved her.
