Graveside services for Powell Cooper, 91, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Godley Cemetery in Godley, Texas. The Rev. Gerald Moore and the Rev. Charles Collett will officiate.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mr. Cooper passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born in Rio Vista, Texas on June 30, 1928, the son of Katie (Powell) and Vernon Cooper.
Mr. Cooper served his country in the United States Army and was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.
Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife, Marjorie Cooper; daughter, Teresa French and husband, Thomas, all of Cleburne; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
