Graveside services and viewing for Darrell Dwayne Cloud, 63, of Whitney, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Darrell's best friend, Jesse Forgy, will officiate.

Darrell passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, in Garland, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on December 25, 1961, to Bonnie Sue (Miller) and Joe Neal Cloud, Sr.

Darrell graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1980. He loved life and was happy go lucky despite his disability. Darrell was a giving person, evidenced in his capacity as a donor, who helped others, even after his death.

He loved yard work, drag racing, NASCAR, and above all else, the Kansas City Chiefs. Darrell was a member of the First Baptist Church of Whitney. 

He was preceded in death by his dad, Joe Cloud, Sr, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Darrell is survived by his mother, Bonnie Cloud of Grandview, Texas; sons, Douglas and wife, Star, of Crowley, Texas and Brandon and wife, Haleigh, of Burleson, Texas; brothers, Joe Cloud, Jr. of Garland and Jerry Cloud and Michelle "Shelly" of Grandview, Texas; and three grandchildren, Zeke, Mayse, and Ely, all of Burleson, Texas; and many other family members and friends.
