Darrell Daniel

Darrell Lynn Daniel, 70, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away on June 21, 2025, in Fort Worth, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on September 24, 1954, in White Settlement, Texas, Darrell lived a full and faithful life grounded in God, family, friendship, and a deep love for his home state.

Darrell was a devoted husband to Wanette Daniel and a proud father and grandfather. He is survived by his children: Robert Daniel and wife Julia Reynolds, and their daughter Lane; Jonathan Daniel and wife Carisa, and their sons Derek, Christian, Jacob, and Sutter; and daughter Dara Ferguson, and her daughters Lillian, Evelyn, and Abigail. Nothing brought Darrell more joy than cheering on his grandchildren from the sidelines or spending time with them in everyday moments.

He is also survived by his siblings Glenda, Ronald, Lynn, Carolyn, Rob, and Michelle, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Marlene Trewin, Denver Daniel, and Betty Daniel, and his sister, Janice Daniel.

A proud Texan through and through, Darrell loved Texas Tech, trombone, music, and all things baseball and football. He enjoyed playing 42, spending time outdoors camping, fishing and shooting, and simply being with those he loved most. His sharp wit, warm heart, and strong spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come share memories, laughter, and love in honor of Darrell's life.
