David Gerard Collins, 60, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at his home.  There are no services scheduled at this time.

David Collins was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 30, 1962, the son of Mary Patricia (Uniacke) and Richard Arlen Collins. 

He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1999 with a degree in Criminal Justice and was a retired chief transport officer with Tarrant County CSCD.  David loved playing Bingo, writing poetry and reading.  He was of the Catholic faith.

David was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Renee Aston.

He is survived by brothers, Dennis Collins of Rio Vista, Michael Collins of Fort Worth, Scott Collins and wife, Shari, of Conroe, Texas, and  Richard Collins and wife, Kristi, of Anaheim, California; sister, Erin Collins of Kingwood, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
