Obituary for Fredrick Junior "Jim" DeGroat
Fredrick “Jim” DeGroat, 90, of Cleburne, Texas passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 in Cleburne.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Jim was born in Pineville, Missouri on July 24, 1924, the son of Edith (Bush) and John Fredrick DeGroat. He was a retired piano wholesaler.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Lorene DeGroat of Cleburne; sons, Jim DeGroat and wife, Julie, of Cleburne and Dennis DeGroat Ashly of Ojai, California; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
