Dolores Rodriguez Garcia

Dolores Rodriguez Garcia, 45, of Rio Vista, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born on April 4, 1980, in Mexico, the daughter of Lucina Martinez and Lucas Rivera. Dolores will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her.

She leaves behind the greatest treasures of her life-her five beloved children, Casandra G. Rodriguez (19), Valeria G. Rodriguez (18), Abigail Rodriguez (12), Angel Fabian G. Rodriguez (10), and Jose Angel G. Rodriguez (4); her husband, Cirilo Garcia of Rio Vista; her grandchildren, Salvador and Tadeo; her brother, Luis Rivera; sisters, Martha Perez and Fabiola Ramirez; along with many other cherished family members and friends.

Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jose Luis Rodriguez, who passed away at the age of 18 in April 2019, as well as by her parents, Lucina Martinez and Lucas Rivera. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with them in eternal rest.

Dolores’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren, always encouraging them to dream big and reminding them how proud she was of each of their accomplishments. She also loved babysitting and caring for little children, finding joy in their laughter and innocence. Known for her caring heart, she welcomed everyone with open arms and created a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. Her strength and selflessness were an inspiration, and her memory will live on through the lives she touched.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Rosser Funeral Home, with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne, Texas, with Father Reehan Anthony officiating. Burial will follow at Rio Vista Cemetery.
