Deloris Wolfe

It is with sadness and love that I announce the passing of my mother, Deloris Delana Wolfe. She passed peacefully on June 3rd at the age of 84.

She was born on July 17th in Topsy Oklahoma. She was raised in Disney, Oklahoma on the Lake of the Cherokees.

She attended Oklahoma State University School of Technical Training in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, majoring in accounting and secretarial skills. She met the love of her life Thurman Wolfe, and they married on May 15th, 1959, in Ada Oklahoma. They moved to Cleburne in 1960, and she started working for Sessions, Gentry and Selby for 15 years as a as a certified public accountant. She also worked at First National Bank of Cleburne as a Comptroller/ Chief Financial Officer.

Then she was promoted to the title of Senior Vice President in March of 1984. She finished her working career at Rangaire as a Financial Accounting Manager in Cleburne. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Literacy Volunteers. She believed in being involved as a Literacy Volunteer, as a way to honor her dad. He always told her that "God gave you a mind, so use it fully".

Proceeded in death by both parents, William J Morrow and Cora O Morrow. As well as 4 brothers and 1 sister. Also proceeded in death her husband, Thurman Wolfe.

Deloris is survived by her son Michael Wolfe. He resides in Justin, Texas with his wife Kristy Wolfe. As well as four grandchildren Courtney Franklin, Joshua Wolfe, Courtney Vester and Kaylee Jones. And she has eight great grandchildren.

Thurman and Deloris were members of First Christian Church in Cleburne for many years. And very active at that church. We know that Deloris has been reunited with the love of her life "Wolfe" (as she called him) and her parents and siblings. We know that she is having the time of her life.
