A memorial service for Martha Sue DeWitt, 94, of Cleburne, Texas will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Cleburne First Seventh-day Adventist Church with graveside services to follow.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, June 19, 2020 at Cleburne First Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. DeWitt passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home. She was born in Tifton, Georgia on January 30, 1926, the daughter of Maude (Shaw) and William Mathis.
Martha Sue and Joseph Lyndon DeWitt were married on August 11, 1985 in Keene, Texas. She was a retired nurse’s aide and was a member of the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mrs. DeWitt was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and son, David Terry McAlexander.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lyndon DeWitt of Cleburne; sons, Tom McAlexander and wife, Maria, of Tampa, Florida and Donald McAlexander and wife, Bethene, of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter, Debra Alvarnas of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandchildren, Aaron McAlexander, Alejandra Redden, Donald McAlexander, Cynthia Hanrahan, and Alexander Alvarnas.
