Willie Mae Elam
Memorial service for Willie Mae Elam, 68, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors after the service in Joshua, Texas.
Mrs. Elam went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 in Grandview, Texas. She was born Aug. 28, 1947 in Cleburne, Texas to Mina (Hudson) and Lewis Barnes. Willie Mae married Jimmy Elam on Dec. 3, 1966 in Grandview, Texas. She was retired and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grandview.
Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Elam of Grandview; son, Don Elam of Grandview; daughter, Tonya Dees and husband, Dustin, of Joshua; brothers, E.J. Barnes and wife, Larue, of Cleburne, Jimmy Barnes and wife, Rosalie, of Burleson; sister, Elizabeth Hewlett of Cleburne; and grandchildren, Katherine Elam, Kora Dees, Andrew Elam, and Kyler Dees.
