Mansfield, TX—Memorial services celebrating the life, of Michael J. Elliott, 65, of Mansfield, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Lillian, 10558 CR 519, Lillian, TX 76061. Pastor Rick Hope will officiate.
Mr. Elliott passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his home. He was born in Brownwood, Texas on June 19, 1948, the son of Mary Alice (Askins) and George Odel Elliott.
Michael married Geneva Yates on May 5, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was a foreman for a pipe insulation plant.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Elliott of Mansfield; sons, Stephan Len Elliott and wife, Wendy, of Mansfield and Chris Elliott of Okla.; daughter, Sherry Spencer of Alvarado, Texas; brothers, Allen Elliott and wife, Billie and David Elliot, all of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
