Ellis Teems Brannam Jr., went to sleep on December 9th, 2024, until those trumpets sound, and he is called home by his Lord & Savior. He lived a long and fulfilling 89 years, surrounded by loved ones until the very end.
Ellis was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, spouse, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and 20-year veteran. He always put God first and was a shining example of a devoted Christian in the Lords army. His family was very important to him, and his support and sacrifices proved it.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Brannam Sr, and Vera Crosby, brother Grady Brannam, and youngest son Mark Brannam.
He is survived by his wife Mary, son Ellis T Brannam, III & wife Linda, daughter Robin Broussard & husband Wayne, sister Martha Witz & husband Lowell, brother Gene Price, Grandchildren, Nathan Brannam, Danielle Brannam, Kyle Brannam and Katrina Broussard, Great-grandchildren, Chase Culbertson Kami Brannam, Rebekkah Brannam, Kevin Brannam, Mark Wayne Brannam, Marcus Brannam, Braelyn Brannam, Morgan Elliott and Maximus Ryan.
Viewing will be at Rosser Funeral Home, 1664 W Henderson St, Cleburne, TX 76033, Sunday, December 15th 4pm - 6pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church, 114 S. Fairview, Keene, TX 76059, Monday, December 16th at 1:00pm, interment to follow at Keene Cemetery.
Instead of flowers Ellis has requested donations be made to one of the three following Adventist organizations. He believed his purpose was to spread the ministry of Christ to the nations as instructed in Matthew 28:19-20.
