Emma Jean Gatlin, 89, of Blum, Texas passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, in Cleburne, Texas.  There are no services scheduled at this time.

Emma was born in Dallas, Texas on May 28, 1936, the daughter of Helen (Roach) and Irad Feagin.  She worked her whole life, finally "retiring" at 86 years old.  Emma collected cookbooks and she used them! She loved to cook for her family and make cookies for her friends.  

Emma was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Travis Gatlin.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Briscoe; daughter, Deborah Griffith and husband, David; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
