Graveside services for Fern B. Cox, 80, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2026 at Hopewell Cemetery with Pastor James Hooper and Len Nichols officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Grant Cox, Trent Fox, Blake Cox, Jonathan Bullard, Jeramy Floyd, Tristen Cox, Brixon Bullard, and Bowen Floyd.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Fern B. Cox passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born March 10, 1946 in Weatherford, Texas to Leonard Alton and Elda Winefred (Gibbons) Carter. She married Bill Cox on June 6, 1964 in Weatherford.

Fern was a retired cosmetology instructor and a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Bill, brother Leslie Carter, sister Wanda Howell, and granddaughter, Alyssa Fox.

Survivors include her sons, Noel Cox and wife Suzanne of Covington and Toby Cox wife Elizabeth of Joshua; daughter, Pam Fox and husband Keith of Joshua; grandchildren, Trent Fox and wife Cammie, Blake Cox, Tiffany Floyd and husband Jeramy, Haley Bullard and husband Jonathan, and Grant Cox; nine great grandchildren; and one great grandson coming in August; sisters, Donice Nichols of Weatherford and ReVay Bullock and husband Rusty of Comanche; many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
