Funeral services for Gaye Nell Alexander, 91, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2025 at Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church with Pastor Mike Mizell and Pastor Brent Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, at Rosser Funeral Home.

Gaye Nell Alexander was born June 9, 1934, in Duncan, Oklahoma. She went to be with her Lord Savior Jesus Christ on October 21, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Tom and Roxie Spradling, her sister Martha Lou Ruhter, her brother Robert Wayne Spradling who died at 2 months old of tuberculosis. Her husband of 62 years, Glen Dale Alexander went to be with the Lord in 2016, her youngest daughter Gaye Denise Alexander passed in 2021, and her daughter-in-law Dorothy Alexander passed in 2023, and many dachshunds.

She is survived by her sons Thomas Glen Alexander and Richard Lynn Alexander and his wife Dora Alexander. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

Gaye Nell gave her life to the Lord at about the age of twelve and served God her entire life. Her life was centered around church as she was a longtime member of Bethel Temple A/G. She was a musician, playing piano and accordion, but her most enjoyment was singing in the choir for many years until she could no longer climb the risers. She enjoyed the Seniors Fellowship and took many trips to Branson and other places with them. One of her gifts was baking as many enjoyed her strawberry cake, banana pudding and pumpkin cake.

Gaye Nell worked at Southwestern Bell for 30 years and retired from there in the late eighties.

Gaye Nell had her children in church from birth and because of her faithfulness and prayers, her entire family knows the Lord as their Savior.
