Dorothy “Dottie” Jean Gibson passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Fort Worth. She was born on January 16, 1933 in Dallas, Texas to Marie (Grayson) and Robert Hering.
Dottie was a retired restaurant manager for Keller’s Drive-In in Dallas. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grady “Hoot” Gibson and one son, Roger Stembridge on January 23, 2012.
Survivors include her children, Donald Lee Stembridge and wife, Caren of McKinney, Texas, and Vickie Sheryl Tyer and husband, Bill of Grandview, Texas; daughter-in-law, Paula Stembridge of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin Stembridge, Kim Stump and husband Bryan, and Cindy Patterson and husband Shawn; great-grandchildren, Katie Stembridge, Amber Stembridge, Benjamin Mitcham, Marilyn Rui, Christa Mitcham, Douglas Mitcham, and Ethan Mitcham; great-great grandchildren, Blakely Cordova, Justin Mitcham, Aubree Mitcham, Lilly Copland, Jaxon Rui; and many other relatives and friends.
