Glenda Force

Funeral services for Glenda Force, 88, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Greenacres Memorial Park with the Rev. Larry York and the Rev. Adam Matthews officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Nolan River Road Baptist Church.

Glenda passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born in Cleburne on April 14, 1935, the daughter of Dora (Anderson) and Ollie West.

Glenda was a dental assistant for many years. She married Bob Force on November 8, 1978.

Glenda was a business owner and was also an artist, serving as president of the Cleburne Area Quilters Guild. During her presidency, she obtained 501c3 status for them.

She was a member of the Nolan River Road Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the Ridgeview Nursing and Rehab staff for their kindness and care during this time.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Amber Bascom.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Force of Cleburne; son, Roger Bascom and wife, Brett, of Bremerton, Washington; daughter, Carol Wilbourn and husband, Wendell, of Hamilton, Texas; step-children, Robert Force and wife, Donna, of Graham, Texas and Janice Force of Cleburne; sister, Judy Britton and husband, John, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Angie Ellis, Mandi Hewitt, Adam West, and Alisha Triplet; step-grandchildren, Bradley Force, Christin Force, Cameron Force, Ashlee Poe, and Alisia Poe; numerous great- grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
