Graveside services for Glenda Renea Simpson, 64, of Godley, Texas will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Bono Cemetery. Mrs. Simpson passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 in Godley. She was born March 24, 1961 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Ray and Wynema (Barnett) Williams. She married Randy Simpson on September 7, 1994 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Simpson was a bookkeeper and loved raising and showing horses. She was a member of the Bono Fire Department search and rescue, Terry's Texas Rangers and the Sons of The Confederacy. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Derake Hanson in 2018.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Simpson; sister, Debbie Weaver; brother, James Barnett; and many other relatives and friends.
