Mrs. Hightower was born in Yale, Oklahoma on June 30, 1926, the daughter of Thelma B. (Hobbs) and Lester l. Crawford.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Weldon Hightower; and son, Gary Allen Hightower.
Mrs. Hightower is survived by her daughter, Linda Shafer of Burleson; and sister, Carolee Beutler of Greendale, Wis.
