Funeral services for Hilda Maturin Chavez, 79, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Sergio Rizo officiating.  Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chavez passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.  She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on June 16, 1943, the daughter of Guadalupe (Diaz) and Jose Maturin.

She married Cornelio Chavez on February 25, 1980 in Hillsboro, Texas.  Mrs. Chavez was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Chavez is survived by her husband, Cornelio of  Cleburne; sons, Mario Becerril and wife, Carla, of El Paso, Texas and Jesus Chavez and wife, Esmeralda, of Burleson, Texas; nine grandchildren; sisters, Maria Garcia, also of El Paso and Sandra Maturin of California; brother, Fermin Maturin; and many other family members and friends.
