Funeral services for David “D.P.” Holibaugh, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be the employees of the Cleburne John Deere dealership.
Mr. Holibaugh passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne on August 27, 1930, the son of Bessie Lee (Norrell) and David Wyatt "D.W." Holibaugh.
Mr. Holibaugh served his country in the United States Army, was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad and was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Florence Dunn Holibaugh; and sister, Juanita Holibaugh.
Mr. Holibaugh is survived by his niece, Dwana Phillips and husband, Michael, of Cleburne; nephew, Kemper Edgin; great nephew, Wesley Edgin, both of Ozark, Arkansas; special friend, Helen Hurron, of Cleburne; and lots of good friends.
