A graveside service for Joan Lee Holley, 98, of Keene, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the Keene Memorial Park Cemetery. Leighton Holley will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
Joan Lee Holley passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Keene. She was born January 15, 1921 in Takoma Park, Maryland to Elsie Dorothy (Robinson) and Calvin Eugene Bollman.
Mrs. Holley was a former missionary to Honduras and Kenya. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Texas Seventh-day Adventist Conference until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roger Holley on September 7, 1985.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Nelson and husband Jerry; granddaughters, Cynthia Nelson Donovan, Lynda Swain and husband Simon and Liz Nelson Griffith and her husband Dillon; three great grandsons, Lance Donovan, Ryan Donovan and Jonathan Swain; nephews, Mark Anderson and Myron Anderson; and several other relatives and friends.
