In Celebration of the Life of InaBeth McCoy

InaBeth McCoy passed away peacefully in her home on May 24, 2025, at the age of 36. she was born on August 22, 1988, in DeLeon, Texas, to loving parents, Phil and Elizabeth Donaldson.

InaBeth graduated from Grandview High school in 2006 and attended Harding University where she graduated in 2010. While attending college she met J McCoy. Their friendship blossomed into love and they were married on March 12, 2011. InaBeth chose to stay home and homeschool their 3 children Rett (11), Mitchell (9), and Cora (7) where she was a constant source of wisdom, patience, and unwavering love.

InaBeth was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, but refused to let that diagnosis define her. She chose her trust and relationship with Jesus as her identity and she lived it before everyone she met. She held tight to her faith despite all the hardships and struggles she endured trusting in the living hope she has as a follower of Jesus.

InaBeth will be remembered for the radiant joy she brought into the lives of so many people, her compassionate heart, and the unconditional love she poured out on family, friends, and strangers.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 14 years, J McCoy; loving children, Rett, Mitchell, and Cora; parents, Phil and Elizabeth Donaldson; sister, Callie Taylor; brother in law, Drew Taylor; nephew, Will Taylor; niece, Emma Taylor; grandparents, Dale and Dolores Wood.

InaBeth was a pillar of strength and a well of encouragement and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her until we see her again as our hope is fulfilled in the resurrection to come.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, beginning at 1:00 pm in the home of J and InaBeth McCoy for all who wish to attend.
