Services for Emolene Jacobs, 89, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Emolene passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 in Clifton, Texas. She was born Nov. 7, 1921 to Alvin Gurtis Pruett and Mattie Turner Pruett. Emolene was a retired teacher’s aid where she worked with special needs children and a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ in Cleburne.
Emolene was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Ernest Jacobs.
She is survived by her sister-in-laws, Dorothy Pruett, Mozelle Jacobs, and Johnnie Jacobs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
