Obituary

James Anthony "Tony" Walker, 76, of Cleburne, Texas died Friday, October 20, 2023.

Tony was born in Pasadena, Texas in 1947 to Eva Leoma and Henry Walker and graduated Brewer High School in White Settlement. Tony joined the United States Army in 1966, before being deployed to Vietnam and later Germany, which he loved.

Tony was preceded in death by his mother and father; his first wife, Mary Jane and second wife of 24 years, Maggie Walker.

He is survived by his four-legged furry son, Deuce Lee; son, Micheal and son-in-law, Jonathan Mitchell of Cleburne, daughters, Jamie Walker of Austin and Candy Ann and husband, Michael Feldman of Bryan; granddaughter, Misty and husband, Michol Goodrum of Normangee, and grandson, Mitchel Conner of Houston. Tony is also survived by his older sister, Jean Nelson of Whitney and older brother, Bucky Walker of Egan, along with great grandchildren, a slew of nieces and nephews, and his dear friend, Randy Throckmorton of Alvarado.

The family will be receiving visitors on Sunday, October 22, from 6-8:00 P.M. at Rosser Funeral Home and graveside services will be held on October 23 at High Prairie Cemetery on F.M. 2289 in Madisonville, Texas at 2:00 P.M.
